Nouveau Paris This Fall

This fall, what?s old is new again on the Paris dining scene. Three historic and celebrated restaurants have reopened with d?cor and menus fit for 21st-century gourmands. In a departure from the elegant and traditional style of the hotel, the Plaza Ath?n?e?s restaurant serves a surprisingly informal menu of vegetarian-friendly dishes that feature fish, seasonal vegetables and rather un-French grains like quinoa and bulgur wheat.

Paris museums and galleries save their biggest and best shows for the fall when the international contemporary art fair FIAC hits, and this year is extra special?thanks to the newly-opened Fondation Louis Vuitton and renovated Paris Mint. Plus, one-of-a-kind boutiques like La Galerie MiniMasterpiece, Chez moi and Officine Generale offer art-inspired pieces and keep Paris on top as one of the world?s shopping capitals.
