A resident of Le Marais, Khorosh says being single in Paris is like being single everywhere else?it varies from day to day. ?There are days when I love it and others when every love lock on Pont des Arts feels like a personal offence to my singlehood,? she tells us.

Funnily, the best way to meet men in Paris is through the dating app Tinder. ?I am actually not kidding. Parisian Tinder is fantastic and I have been able to meet some really interesting people through it,? she laughs. ?It?s not part of the culture for men to approach you when out in public, so you are kind of left to your own devices.?

Although, not all things in Paris must revolve around men for single girls. ?Find a nice terrace and people-watch over a glass of Chablis. Take a Velib to Mus?e d?Orsay and see an expo,? she advises. ?Walk around, feel like a film star in a Nouvelle Vague film, or Am?lie, or just good old Carrie, waiting for Big to come to the rescue.? And to make friends, just make one, and the rest will follow. ?However, I do think it?s important to speak the language and respect the French culture in order to integrate well,? she adds.
