Vanity Fair and MOCA?the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami?are teaming up for the second year to fabulously ring in Art Basel.  This year, the party?s centered around Bill Viola: Liber Insularum, the latest video art exhibition by celebrated American artist Bill Viola.  Snag your tickets here770 NE 125th Street, North Miami

During the entirety of the festival, the Morgans Hotel Group will be hosting a pop-up version of the famed Parisian hotspot Silencio at their own Delano South Beach.  The club?s original Paris location is renowned for its darkly chic ?Mulholland Drive?-inspired vibe; expect sleek cocktail offerings and a buzzing salon-esque atmosphere.

Miami?s Bass Museum of Art?noted for its distinct collections of historical and modern work?is putting on a special exhibit called ?The Endless Renaissance? that features the solo projects of six international artists. Eija-LiisaAhtila (Finland), Barry X Ball (USA), WaleadBeshty (UK), Hans-Peter Feldmann (Germany), Ged Quinn (UK) and Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook (Thailand) are the artists highlighted in the exhibit.  Celebrate the exhibit?s opening on Wednesday, December 5 from 9 P.M. to midnight. 2100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

The Standard Hotel in Miami Beach is another hotspot for Art Basel soirees.  Terry Richardson?the top photographer who?s snapped everyone from Barack to Gisele?is signing copies of his new book, Terrywood, on December 7, then hosting an after-party at the Standard (which promises some raucous entertainment).  On Sunday, December 9, the hotel is partnering with NYC?s Hole Gallery for a Lazy Sunday BBQ, which combines a delicious array of wings, burgers, and fries with a curated selection of thought-provoking art. 40 Island Avenue, Miami Beach

The ever-cool South Beach boutique The Webster is hosting a bevy of invite-only Art Basel events guaranteed to attract the A-listers of the festival. Designer Stella McCartney is bringing her British heritage to the U.S. by hosting a VIP tea party for the event?s top fashion lovers.  Later that evening, Valentino and Interview magazine will take over The Webster?s rooftop for a night of cocktails hosted by Sofia Sanchez, Chelsea Leyland, and Laure Heriard Dubreuil. 1220 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach
