What is the inspiration behind Tambourine Designs?
I am inspired by texture, pattern and color. I love using traditional techniques and fusing them into my collection. I use an eclectic array of materials and embellishments- like Rajasthani Gota, which are these metal hand embroidered panels. My prints are all one of a kind but all have a similar vibe. The motifs pay tribute to India's heritage and are playful and bright! I want my pieces to be interpreted in a global way. They are perfect for all ages and you can rock the look from day to night!
