Globetrotter: Star Von Bunny

Star Von Bunny is a model, actress and all-around celebrity plush rabbit who garnered media buzz and rave reviews when she told all in her memoirs, Star Von Bunny: A Model Tale (HarperEntertainment). You can currently follow her exploits on her blog. Star took a moment away from her busy schedule to give us a behind-the-scenes look at her fabulous life:

L-atitude: This is a big year for you, Star: this Chinese New Year rings in the year of the rabbit. How do you plan to celebrate?

 Star Von Bunny: Actually I am planning  a new year?s party in NYC. I am having an all white food dinner party (after all, you are what you eat)-- the menu consists of steamed dumplings filled with ricotta cheese, white rice, steamed chicken with water chestnuts and onions, and white fish in oyster sauce, and  for dessert we are having  what I like to call couture fortune cookies. Each cookie will have one of my famous von mantras tucked inside as its fortune. Did I mention that Charlie Mom himself is catering?

L: What are your favorite cities for shopping?

S: Well I love to shop Paris and Milan for designer items. Mumbai is where I stock up on items like baby bangles in gold or plastique.

L: What are your top three must-haves for the season from L-atitude?

S: I love the Kismet by Milka Evil Eye Bracelet  from Turkey, but I would wear it as a bikini belt. I also like the Silvia Tcherrachi  beaded Mochila bag from Columbia because I am always looking for glitzy bags to be carried around in. I also would love to have my couturier turn one of the Amba Silk Scarves from Mumbai into a one of a kind evening dress for me.

L: What is a style secret you can share for always looking fabulous?

S: Be yourself.  I am.

L: Where are your favorite places to shop in New York?

S: I love the custom shoes at Build-A-Bear workshop and because I am so petite I usually do well in the children?s department at  Bergdorf ?s or Saks Fifth Avenue.

L: What are your favorite spas in the world?

S: It doesn?t matter what city I am in, I can turn any rinse cycle with Tide into a spa experience.

L: What city do you think has the best style?

S: I like LA because I am a gal who likes to keep it casual --just grabbing a shoe and bag and I am ready to go. I also love the way the girls in Tokyo try to emulate my style, I mean, those girls will even add a tail to a look.

L: What city is next on your travel agenda? Any must-have items you plan to shop for while there?

S: Not sure where I will be going next but as long as I have my laptop the world?s best shopping is a click of the paw away!

L: You?ve already made a name for yourself as a model, actress and ?whatever? ? what?s next for Star von Bunny?

S: I am thinking of becoming a Designer/Yogi/Kardashian.
