The native New Yorker took a breather from a ?pretty insane few days in Paris? to chat with us.

 

In your own words, you are not much of a ?goer-outer?.  You?ve mentioned getting together with your good friend, designer Chris Benz, just to talk and ?stare at each other?. Where are your favorite spots to chill in New York?  

 

I love to walk. If I meet up with friends, it will often be to take a walk down the Hudson River or cut through Tribeca to go grab some grub at Bubby?s Pie Co. I also love wandering around the West Village and looking at stores and caf?s. And ? Central Park.

 

New York is such a great walking city. Do you do it in flats or heels?

 

You gotta do flats if you are planning to walk more than a block! I don?t wear heels unless I am working.

 

 

What were your  favorite London haunts? Are you more of a Mayfair or Portobello street market kind of girl, or neither?  

 

I?m a Borough Market girl ? that farmer?s market is incredible! When I was in London, I was studying ? so I may not be the best person to ask. I used to hang at Mildred and Food for Thought, both are vegetarian restaurants. East London around Brick Lane is always fun for drinking.

 

What do you use as your carry-on bag? What do you always bring with you when you travel?

 

I just got the gorgeous W Bag from Ferragamo that fits two books, a magazine, my agenda, wallet, passport, phone and iPod. It?s perfect for traveling.
