Your collection of products keeps growing, what creative endeavors are on the horizon?
This is super exciting for me. I don't want to limit the brand to just jewelry but I do want to continue making all kinds of jewelry, expanding and building the product with each collection. I would love do some some beachy Organic Peroxide T-Shirts. I collect vintage skate and surf tees, vintage Hawaiian tees, and vintage concert tees. I would love to also explore some other items in the accessory categories that embodies the Organic Peroxide lifestyle.
Since you wear so many hats- designer and stylist- Can you give us a sense of what a day in your life is like?
Totally unpredictable and always changing! No day is the same which is exciting but can get uber hectic! LOTS of running around to appointments and meetings. Lots of prep work for upcoming shoots and Organic Peroxide production and design meetings etc. Lots of traveling and being in 2 places at once!
What was your inspiration for your current collection?
It is a mix of many things. It starts with an idea of who the Organic Peroxide girl is for the current collection. She could be a raver city neon girl or a total beached out Venice babe. From there I decide the colors and materials. As a stylist, I am influenced by all things fashion, but I am also influenced by my current travels at the time. I could totally be into someone walking on the street in NYC just as much as a girl at the beach- I like that mix. I always reference vintage skate and surf books for inspiration. This collection was about a super chic cool girl with a bit of a wild side.
Your collection has a strong global vibe- What are some of your favorite cities to visit and why?
Thank you! I am a NY?er so that will always be where my heart is. I love visiting California (and staying for las long as possible)- it is just so inspiring to me- all parts. I love going to Spain and Italy because of the culture, food, and obviously shopping in remote markets. Also, Mexico because of the vibrant colors everywhere and endless beach inspiration. I also love any beach destination form Bahamas to Ibiza!
Describe your closet? What are some of your most treasured items?
My closet has for sure an identify crisis. I dress how I feel that day or week and it always changes depending on my mood or what I am into at the moment. I have 4 garment racks- I don't like closets because I can't see anything or ever find anything! (I have become a fashion hoarder!) I like to mix things up a bit. I mostly wear vintage tees though which I have been collecting for years!
What is your favorite item that you have ever been given or purchased while you were traveling?
This is so hard because I love and cherish everything. I love interesting or weird objects I find, like this clear paperweight with a scorpion cast inside. I found this African walking stick in LA with crazy beads and feathers (total voodoo moment) and I love it so much, it is so bizarre! I could not get on the plane with it and had to check it separately which was quite the scene with this feather crazy wood stick at the airport.
What are you wardrobe must have?s for traveling?
Hats. A scarf. A great jacket. White vintage tees + destroy denim. Vans.
What are your summer holiday plans?
Sadly I don't have any too exciting this year. Will be staying in NY working on the collection and on styling jobs. Any travel will be work related! A quick trip to Old San Juan might be in the works though I hope at least!

Organic Peroxide, Sun and Siesta & Imports from Marrakesh
