Guidemore was born in Zimbabwe and came to South Africa in 2003 as a refugee. He immediately found employment with Design Afrika, assisting with the sales and dispatch of tribal art. Inspired by Darcy Parker, Guidemore was soon producing necklaces laden with new patterns, colors and designs of his own.
Included in each purchase will be a gift sample of the Wild Olive Table Mountain Range Botanical Candle.
Wild Olive African Artisans was established in 1997. This candle is handmade using fine and organic oils, mostly outsourced from the African continent, housed in a handmade and hand drawn porcelain conatiner. This botanical cradle is scented with an original fougere perfume, Flora Capensis, using Cape May, Cape Snowbush, African Workmwood and Buchu, all indigenous to South Africa. The Table Mountain range is inspired by the majestic Table Mountain, that was recently chosen as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature.
