Security of Personal Information


The security of personal information about you is our priority.  We protect this information by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that meet applicable law.  We train our employees in the proper handling of personal information.   When we use other companies to provide services or goods for us or you, we require them to protect the confidentiality of personal information they receive.  L-atitude uses Godaddy's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software to secure all online transactions up to a 256-bit encryption.  A closed padlock icon, the “https” prefix and a green address bar on your browser indicates the security of this site.  Also,  all credit card transactions will be processed using's secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.


What Information Does L-atitude Collect, and How Is It Used?


The information we collect about you comes from the following sources:


1)    Personal Information: L-atitude may use your personal information to complete transactions, respond to your requests, deliver the products and services you request, notify you of any sales, updates or special offers that may interest you.  If you are receiving emails from and no longer wish to receive such communications, please click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our e-mails, or manage our emails via your “My Account” page on our site.

a.    Information we receive from you, such as your name, date of birth,  address, and telephone number,

b.    Information we receive when you contact us or send us correspondence;   

c.    Information about your transactions, such as your computer’s IP address, your account balances, payment history, and account and traffic activity, and

d.    Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies and other sources, such as your credit bureau report and your credit score.

2)      Server Statistics: We collect general statistics to monitor user traffic & trends on our site.  This information does not provide us with any personal information about you.  It allows us to pinpoint high traffic areas and determine the most effective ways to communicate with our users.

a.    Site Traffic – IP address from where you accessed the Site, type of browser & operating system used, navigational patterns.

L-atitude may share information with carefully selected business partners that we work with (“Non-affiliated Third Parties”).  All companies that act on our behalf are contractually obligated to keep all information confidential and to use the customer information only to provide the services we ask them to perform for you and us.  We may disclose personal information about you to the following types of non-affiliated third parties to facilitate your orders and provide a personalized shopping experience:

How You Can Access And, If Necessary, Change the Personal Information L-atitude Maintains or Terminate Your Membership?


If for any reason you are concerned that the personal information held by L-atitude is not correct, please visit the Site and , after logging into the Site using the “Sign In” menu on the home page, your personal information will be made available for the review and change in the “My Account” section.  Only you or, upon your request, the Customer Care department, may access your personal data from the Site using your password and User ID.  Information may be changed online within My Details, Shipping Details, and My Preferences. You can change or delete saved credit card details each time you make a purchase. You will also be able to delete saved credit card details by adding or editing a shipping/billing address.  If you change your billing or shipping address while you order is still being processed, the order will be re-processed through customer finance check.  If you prefer, you may contact us by email at and we will amend your personal details.


Safeguarding Your Personally Identifiable Information
