Rumisu is an accessory line that celebrates love of whimsical illustration as well as traditional handcrafts such as 'oya', turkish art of crochet and lace edging, and hand screen printing. The line is ethically produced in cooperation with a UNDP project that aims to achieve sustainable development and employment for women in Eastern Turkey. These specific items feature modern re-interpretations of prominent figures of actual ottoman history, and cute and curvy harem women from the imagination.

From left to right on the crescent swing are: Ahmet the 2nd, Mustafa the 3rd, Mustafa the 2nd, Mehmet the 4th, Osman Gazi, Murad the 4th, Abdulhamid the 1st, Selim the 3rd and Suleyman the Magnificent. All chosen and highlighted by Rumisu for being especially fashionable. Thanks to them and many others, the star of the Ottoman Empire shone for 623 years, from 1299 to 1922.

Customers will have 15 calendar days from receipt of your order for a complimentary size-exchange of the same item/style. We are happy to offer US & International customers free shipping for a one-time size exchange of purchased goods.
