In celebration of the Chinese New Year, L-atitude would like to share stills from one of our favorite Hong Kong films - “In the Mood for Love” starring Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung. This restless and stylized film takes place in 1962 Hong Kong and is soulfully directed by Wong Kar-Wei.

Fusako Nakanishi and Kazumi Lomri are the Hong Kong and Paris-based mother and daughter team behind Chako, a line of beautiful bags crafted from repurposed obi silks and kimono fabrics for one-of-a-kind results. A truly global duo, their culturally rich and traditional collections weave in inspirations from all over the world - the colors of India, the scenes of Hanoi, the fashions of Western Europe. L-atitude caught up with Kazumi to learn about some of her more exotic favorite destinations and the motivations behind her treasured line.
